Pixi L'Aéroschtroumpf, 300 copies 2020: the village glider
Aerosmurf is represented in his homemade glider: the wood and fabric machine that an ingenious Smurf made with the village's resources. The hand-painted metal recreates the different materials of the glider, the wood of the wings simulated by the texture of the paint, the sail fabric in a distinct shade. The pilot Smurf is in the flight posture: body tilted, arms on the rudimentary controls.
The composition in flight is one of the most difficult to stabilize in the Pixi catalogue: the machine and its pilot must fit convincingly on the base, without the base being disproportionate.
