Castafiore from the Imaginary Museum: the singer in a stage dress

Tintinimaginatio sculpted the Castafiore in her representational outfit, the long dress whose colors and embroidery Hergé varied according to the albums. The hand-painted resin restores the satin of the fabric, the jewelry on the neck and wrists, the monumental hairstyle that characterizes the singer. Mouth slightly open, prima donna expression in full aria.

He is one of the most interesting characters to model at the Musée Imaginaire, because Hergé always drew him with attention to clothing details that almost amounts to fashion illustration. The resin dress worked in folds is the most technical element of the piece.

The great rival and ally of albums

Emeraude Castafiore is the secondary character who was entitled to her own album, Les Bijoux de la Castafiore. His presence in the Imaginary Museum is not obligatory: it is an editorial choice by Tintinimaginatio which recognizes the stature of the character in the series.
