Chorten from the Imaginary Museum: Tintin's lama in Tibet
The great lama Chorten is represented in his Tibetan monastic robe, the ocher-red color of Buddhist monks, in the posture of calm wisdom that Hergé gave him in Tintin in Tibet. The hand-painted resin recreates the folds of the fabric, the headdress, and the expression of a character who knows things that others do not and chooses to keep it to himself.
