Kih-Oskh sign: the emblem of the secret society of Asian albums
The Kih-Oskh Sign is the object that connects Les Cigares du Pharaon to the Blue Lotus: this cross-shaped motif, a mark of opium traffickers, circulates between the two albums like a coded signal that only initiates recognize. Tintinimaginatio translated it into hand-painted resin, with the colors and proportions of the original drawing.
It's a piece that doesn't work out of context: without knowing the two Asian albums, the object is abstract. With the knowledge of these albums, it becomes a summary of two adventures.
