Asterix figurines, Pixi and Collectoys collectibles

Asterix is ​​collected in two very different materials. Pixi sculpts scenes in hand-painted metal, produced between 250 and 300 copies per piece, with number and red box: the register of the unique piece, with the decor in volume, the accessories assembled separately. Collectoys produces generous resin figurines in a more accessible format, without strict printing limitations, with the heroes featured with their own albums.

Uderzo's albums lend themselves particularly well to the Pixi treatment, because his humor relies on multi-character situations rather than individual poses. The Middle Empire with its rickshaw and its wheels that actually turn, It's Corsica with its heads of character, Aux Bêtises de Camaracum with the shop in volume: each one tells the album as much as it represents the heroes.

Collectoys responds to another request: that of the reader who wants Asterix in their library without chasing the latest print. Asterix reading, Obelix carrying, Obelix in the barrel: poses that Uderzo has drawn dozens of times and that the resin restores in a generous format without complexity of acquisition.
